It was not a scene you would have expected at a scientific meeting.

Am I a product of genetics? Circumstances? Upbringing? Or of my own decisions? Probably all four play a part, but I can control my decisions.

As we've worked through many experiences, I've jotted down for myself some rules of thumb.
